Prof. Amber Shrivastava and Prof. Upendra Bhandarkar are chosen for the D. P. Joshi award.

The MED-students have chosen Prof. Amber Shrivastava and Prof. Upendra Bhandarkar for the D. P. Joshi award.This award will be given along with the Departmental Awards for Excellence in Teaching (to Prof. Alankar Alankar) in  a MED Teachers Day function, with details as follows:

Date: September 25, 2024.      Day: Wednesday  

Time: 5-5:45 PM                      Venue: ME-Auditorium

Chief Guest: Prof. K. G. Narayankhedkar, Professor at MED-IITB (1983-2005), Director VJTI (2005-2011), and Chancellor, MGM Institute of Health Sciences (2013-2018), and Director General, Mahatma Gandhi Mission's College of Engineering and Technology (2011-2020).

Department of Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the largest departments in the Institute, with 62 full-time faculty members and over 50 full-time administrative and technical support staff.
